Description
The Settlement stool makes visible the compromises hidden in everyday objects. Its form records tension
between competing demands: seat size vs stability, symmetry vs function, material vs durability.
By revealingthese small concessions, the stool asks us to reconsider the “good enough” decisions we make and acceptin the objects that surround us. Every decision is negotiated. Nothing is perfect, everything is a balance.
